The Enugu chapter of the Nigerian Medical Association held its Chairmanship election it ended up being a very violent clash that left some injured.
A viral video showed some members of the association destroying some election materials.
A medical doctor, Dr Nwaneki shared the pictures of the destroyed polling unit and the bloodied face of one of the members on Twitter.
According to @Dr_Nwaneki,
‘The chairmanship election of the Nigerian Medical Association #NMA Enugu state branch turned violent as doctors were involved in activities unbecoming of the noble profession.
This goes to show that the association is no longer about the common interest of the Nigerian Doctors.’
