Opeyemi Falegan, the ex-lover of Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing, has tendered a public apology to her, admitting he messed up.
Falegan, a Nigerian politician, was on an Instagram live session with media personality Daddy Freeze on Tuesday.
Falegan stated that he “messed up” during his relationship with the 33-year-old actress after having a public row following a messy breakup.
Falegan said to Nkechi Blessing, “To my ex, Nkechi, don’t be angry. Let me tell you now, don’t be angry.
“I know how it feels having a guy you show to the world, saying ‘You are the love of my life, ‘my husband’, and all of a sudden the guy messed up. If I can kneel now, I will but still, I say you should not be angry.”
Falegan, asked if he agreed to have messed up, and he answered, “Yes, in some parts. I needed to forge ahead but maybe I didn’t do it in the best possible manner.”
Falegan, an Ekiti-born politician, took to his Instagram live on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, to confirm his split up from Nkechi Blessing after a popular blogger alleged her to have slept with a man for an endorsement deal.
The aftermath of the breakup lasted for weeks, as the estranged lovers could not help but attack each other on social media space.
