Nigerian Olympian who is the second female to representative Nigeria in Taekwondo at the Olympics targets gold medal in Tokyo.
Nigerian Olympian Elizabeth Anyanacho has expressed her readiness to securing the Gold medal at Tokyo 2020 in Japan.
In an interview with our correspondent this morning, the Olympian, Anyanacho disclosed that she would be putting a break on her academics to concentrate on preparing for the Olympics games to achieve her dream.
In her words, she said, “I will have to go back to school now and then ask for a leave for just a year so that I can focus, else it would affect much of my studies. I just need the support of my school to help make this dream come true.”
The Nigerian Olympian added that her dream is to emerge the winner when the tournament kick starts in July in Tokyo.
Anyanacho a 300level statistics student of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri is the second Nigerian woman to ever qualify for the Olympics in the taekwondo event.
