Nigerian Emerged Winner of 2019 World Physics Competition

A Nigerian lecturer with the University of Maiduguri, Dr. Yakubu Nura, has been declared the winner of the 2019 World Physics Championship in Einstein’s Planetary Equation. Nura’s research work was announced as the best, defeating 5,721 nominations from 97 countries screened for the championship.

The new world champion, who hails from Yobe State, is now recognized as the Father of Modern Einstein’s Planetary Equation Studies in Physics. The championship was organized by the International Agency for Standards and Ratings (IASR), which said Nura’s emergence was based on an international meritorious competition.

The aim of the award, according to the organizers, was to identify outstanding scientists and academicians around the world through world championship.

Nura, a fellow in Directorate of Physics at IASR, has also received commendation for playing a significant role in the advancement of scientific knowledge in Physics.
