A boy identified as Rinji Peter Bala has been reportedly killed by men of the Nigerian Army in Jos. Reports show that he and seven others were arrested by the officials enforcing a curfew in the state.Rinji Bala also known as Bobo was before his death, a student of University of Jos in the department of History and International Relations.
Rinji Bala and seven others were arrested but released after they were cleared by the officials as innocent citizens and not criminals. However, after they were released, the officials asked them to run and subsequently opened fire on them. Rinji was shot in the process and eventually bled to death from the bullet injuries.

His disappearance was noticed by the other six boys after they had gone out of sight from the military officials. The father was duly informed and the body of Rinji Bala was found shortly after the search for him commenced close to the army sector on Zaria road, Jos.
At the moment, the Nigerian Army is yet to release any official statement with respect to this. The six boys who were arrested alongside Rinji Bala also known as Bobo have all been taken to the police for interrogation and investigation.
