Nigerian-American Rapper King Joel has promised to gift the sum of two million Naira to families in Nigeria following the Thanksgiving day celebration.
In commemoration of Thanksgiving day, the rapper noted that he is not celebrating but rather thinking of ways to help people in need.
He also alerted people on how his record label and other companies partnered to go on a food drive in Atlanta, noting that he wanted to do more.
โSo Iโll use this opportunity to give back to people from my motherland ๐ณ๐ฌ where I was actually born. Nigeria doesnโt celebrate Thanksgiving, but Iโm declaring today THANKSGIVING DAY in Nigeria as wellย โผ๏ธโHe affirmed.
The rapper also affirmed that he would see that Thanksgiving becomes a thing in Nigeria, even if it would take years to achieve.
He further pledged 2 Million Naira to people in Nigeria while stating that the money would be more impactful if it went to two families and a food drive would be done in the country.
Although he asked that his followers share their opinion on how the money should be distributed amongst the families.
