Femi Kuti, son of the legendary Afro beat creator, Fela Kuti has since confirmed the closure of the Lagos nightlife pub.

The latest notable visitors being French President, Emmanuel Macron and British-Nigerian born boxing heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua.
The recent lockdown in Nigeria’s major cities has affected the New Afrika shrine too. When asked by a follower, Femi Anikulapo Kuti who is today known as the priest of the shrine confirmed the recent development.

Asides the closure of the Kalakuta shrine closure, Grammy-nominee, Femi Kuti has also announced the cancellation of his US/Canada tour 2020.
