NDLEA Writes APC to Conduct Drug Tests on Presidential Aspirants

The National Drug law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has forwarded a note to the All progressives Congress, APC, requesting that they conduct drug tests on aspiring political candidates before the commencement of the 2023 general elections.

The decision to carry out this huge mandate is coming from the Chairman and Chief Executive of NDLEA, Brig-Gen Buba Marwa, retired, who wrote a letter to the newly elected Chairman of the APC, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the operatives of the anti-doping agency be granted a free pass to members of the ruling party for what is called “Drug integrity Test.”

The tests will cut across all political aspirants around the country as the agency’s Boss further hinted that as soon as it’s time for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to conduct their party primaries, the anti-doping agency would also write their leadership to request a chance to conduct the Drug integrity Test.

NDLEA Gives Reasons for Tests

However, the agency’s executive director who was speaking during the 1st quarter award ceremony in Abuja explained that the tests is necessary to ensure that politicians vested with important national offices do not use budgetary allocations to go and buy cocaine or Methamphetamine instead of providing needed services for the masses.’
