NCDC Announces Restriction Of Travellers From China, 12 Other Countries

The Federal government of Nigeria has announced restriction of entry into the country for travelers from some countries with high cases of Coronavirus.

This was confirmed by the Nigeria Centre For Disease Control, NCDC.

According to a tweet on the Centre’s official twitter handle, the countries listed among the restricted travelers into Nigeria are China, Italy, Iran, South Korea, Spain, Japan, France, and Germany.

Others are the United States of America, Norway, the United Kingdom , Netherlands, and Switzerland.

According to the centre, All travelers returning from these countries prior to the restriction will be in supervised self-isolation, monitored by the Nigeria Centre For Disease Control and Port Health Services.

Also, the Federal Government has suspended the issuance of visas on arrival to travelers from these countries.
