English Premier League side Aston Villa has completed the signing former France Under-21 midfield, Morgan Sanson, from French Ligue 1 top side Marseille on a four-and-a-half-year deal.

According to reports, the player has no actual fee as he was signed for an undisclosed fee. The 26-year-old made 122 appearances for the Ligue 1 top side Marseille. Sanson Joined Marseille from follow French Ligue 1 side Montpellier in January 2017.
Aston Villa manager Dean Smith said Sanson had the “quality and experience” to play in any midfield position. Morgan Sanson said the chance to move to Villa Park was “the best opportunity for me and my career”.
Speaking to newsmen, the Frenchman said: “I’m very proud to join the Aston Villa family, and in the future, I hope we can do great things together.”
Aston Villa head coach Smith said the versatile midfielder “will add real competition for starting places” and ensures greater depth in his squad. Aston Villa has been very impressive this season, and they beat defending champions Liverpool 7-2 in the early stage of the English Premier League.
Aston Villa is currently in the ninth-place position with 29 points, and they have three outstanding games. They will be travelling to Burnley later today, but it is most likely Morgan Sanson will not make his debut just yet.
