The governor of Oyo State, Gov. Seyi Makinde has given an update on the COVID-19 situation in the state, with more people testing positive to COVID-19 in the state.
The governor made this known in the Oyo state COVID-19 ask force update for 25 May he released on his twitter social media handle.
The governor said the state had confirmed four new cases of the COVID-19 in the state, with a 2 more of those cases from the same firm in Ibadan (iSON Xperience) which now has over 150 confirmed cases.
“The COVID-19 confirmation tests for four suspected cases came back POSITIVE. Two are from iSON Xperiences and one case each from Ibadan South West and Egbeda Local Government Areas.”
The addition of these four people now bring the total number of people to have tested positive to COVID-19 in the state to 244.
