Mompha Sues Bobrisky, Demands N1bn for Damages

Nigeria social media celebrity, Ismaila Mustapha, popularly called Mompha, has sued crossdresser, Bobrisky for libel and defamation.

The suit came after Bobrisky’s former PA, Oye Kyme, claimed that Mompha and her former employer had a secret affair.

Mompha Puts Bobrisky in hot Water

Mompha shared a picture of the court documents on his Instagram page on Thursday.

He captioned, “I have today through my Solicitors server on the person of Idris Okuneye a.k.a ‘Bobrisky’ a letter of demand for a retraction, apology and compensation of One Billion Naira for the defamatory and libellous publications made and or concerning my person.”

Mompha added that all allegations made against him by Bobrisky in the publications are false, and it’s an attempt to destroy his integrity.

Mompha noted that for clarity sake, he never borrowed a car from Bobrisky at any point, as he only has one good car as of March 21, 2021.

He added that he never gossiped about Anita Joseph as claimed by Bobrisky, “I only told him to be careful because of what I previously heard Anita Joseph say about me when Bobrisky and her ex-aide were having issues.”

However, Bobrisky wanted to know what was said, “I refused to tell him, clearly stated in the chat”.

Mompha recalled that Bobrisky once invited him to his home to eat and later demanded he pays for the meal he ate, which he then sent him 1 million nairas which Bobrisky posted on his page.

The 42-year-old then demanded Bobrisky to post any proof of his gossips because he never gossiped about anyone.

The Bureau de change owner urged his fans and followers to disregard all false information being spread by Bobrisky, as his legal team are working to ensure justice is served.
