Nigerian singer and rapper Modupe-Oreoluwa Oyeyemi, popularly known by her stage name Mocheddah have shared her scary experience with pregnancy.

The singer on her Instagram page shared how pregnancy brought her so much pain.

The 31-year-old singer recalled how the most painful thing she ever experienced in life was having hyperemesis gravidarum in the first 25 weeks of pregnancy and doubting if anything could ever be more painful.

Mocheddah Shares her Pregnancy Experience

Sharing her ordeal, she added that she was bedridden for weeks, nor could she open her eyes and talk, but all she could do was breathe.

“I threw up 10-15 times a day. I won’t call it throwing up; it was an exorcism where I felt like a sick volcano needed to erupt way too often. I couldn’t eat or drink anything,” the singer wrote.

Mocheddah added that all through the pregnancy, she had different symptoms ranging from “heartburn, indigestion, constipation, acid reflux coupled with the worst pelvic pain that started at 6weeks.”

She recounted while experiencing all this pain; she had a big and painful boil, Wicklow, sore eyes and teeth, stating that it was hard to remain grateful.

“How did something I wanted so much become the most painful experience of my life?” She asked.

“I cried a lot from the pain, and I cried. After all, I felt terrible for feeling so awful because I just couldn’t see past the pain,” Mocheddah added.

She questioned why she had to feel morning sickness every time even though the doctor said it was expected, how new Mums speak about the best experience and why it isn’t the same for her.

“I know it can’t be easy growing life, but why did I feel like I was dying and getting the life sucked out of me.

Growing a human is mind-blowing and a miracle, but know it is HARD.

I feel like a broken record

I feel like I’m complaining

But this is my reality.

I had HG for 25 weeks, when most women have it all through pregnancy.

I’m sending love to every woman that has ever felt this way. Well done, mama ❤️.

PS- pregnant women have the most robust sense of smell! We can smell your soul 😂,” she concluded.
