The Oyo State Police command public relations officer, Olugbenga Fadeyi has advised against the act of jungle justice in the State.
Fadeyi gave the advise when he confirmed that suspected armed robber was set ablaze by an angry mob in the early hours of Friday in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
According to him, suspects are supposed to be handed over to the Police for thorough investigation and prosecution.
The Police image maker noted that two hoodlums robbed an Okada rider of his motorcycle at Olomi area of Ibadan but one of the armed robbers was later caught, beaten to stupor and set ablaze by other okada riders at Odo-Ona Ibadan.
It was gathered that the residents of the area and angry mob descended on them before the arrival of the Police and unleash mayhem on the duo.
