Ike and Mercy had the best to their week on a romantic getaway on this week’s edition of What Next. The power couple that has been having their boat rocked with a lot of distractions lately, were able to show their fans and lovers that they have not seen it all.
What Next is the best platform to keep up with Ike and Mercy, and I must confess that it was a nice scene to behold getting the assurance that love has a strong cord and that cord is not broken yet.
Ike started this romantic getaway by going shopping for a flower to present to his sweet potato. He really meant business this time he was not going to give it away.
After getting the flowers he dashed out somewhere else, but I will tell you that later and he decided to tidy up the plan to spend quality time with Mercy.
You would have loved to see when Mercy stepped out of the car in a breathe taking red dress, arriving at the venue of their dinner.
Thank God Ike did not keep the beauty waiting before arriving at the venue, you trust Captain Ike he was looking dashing as usual.
Appearing with a bouquet of a flower was the best way to greet a lady on a dinner date. Mercy sure loves them and she could not hide it, she sure did love them.
Mercy and her guy got talking and I must say this, if not I would have wasted your time reading this. They kissed and it was the highlight of the dinner.
This was the first kiss on What Next, it has mostly been one heat to another, but that they kissed on this edition just call it the “Assurance Kiss.”
When the talk got to the next level, it was even more romantic. Mercy told her boyfriend that she is thinking of settling down and she can’t wait for Ike to go down on a knee and pop the question.
In what seems like a rehearsal, he brought out one of his rings and slotted it into one of her fingers. You can say it was too big for her fingers, but it was as beautiful and romantic as you can imagine. The fact that it was Ike’s ring said it all, and the smile on Mercy’s face at that moment is worth a billion-dollar.
Who else can’t wait for this to be official? Knowing that the storm is over for Ike and Mercy is such a relief and it was such a good moment to transfer to the archive.
