Nollywood actress, Mercy Johsnon has showered encomium on her colleague in the Nigerian movie industry, Funke Akindele-Bello, also known as Jenifa for being an example to emulate.
Mercy in a post on Instagram described Akindele as her Woman Crush all year round because of her exceptional attributes of supporting the growth of others and for being a strong woman. She appreciates the famous actress and prayed that God bless her for her kind heart.
In her response, Akindele thanked Mercy Johnson, noting that she inspires her to be a better mum.
Meanwhile, EveryEvery.ng had reported that some internet users called out Akindele over what they described as attributes of pride in the actress after celebrating a fellow actress, Ronke Ojo, popularly known as Ronke Oshodi Oke, on her birthday.
Reacting to the birthday wish, some Instagram users noted that Akindele did not practice what she preaches by failing to respect someone older than her.
“Happy birthday Ronkus Baby! Igba Odun,Odun kan ni lagbara Olorun. AMIN!” Funke writes.
Taking to the comment session, an IG user said Funke Akindele would not take it lightly if someone she is older than with four years calls her by her name; she advised the famous actress to do unto others what she expects from others.
