Mercy And Tacha Cannot Be The Same

The Big Brother Naija 2019 show has long ended but the drama still trails behind. A lot has happened and is still happening between the foremost famous females this season produced, Mercy and Tacha.  With the just concluded one Africa music fest in Dubai that saw the presence of many Nigerian artists, influencers, actors and many more from the entertainment industry, there are lots of questions as to why only Mercy was at the event and Tacha did not make it to the event.

According to stories making rounds on social media, many people are of the opinion that Tacha not being at the event means that she could not afford it. For some others, they are saying Mercy should have made sure she was at the event if she truly wants us to believe that they are in good terms.

Although the two drama queens have been caught making statements that sound like implied shades at each other, one cannot say for sure if those statements were staged by them to remain relevant or if they were made out of spite. Both Mercy and Tacha are constantly claiming to be in no competition with anyone. However, with the widespread speculations that Mercy may have gotten a butt implant, many people are of the opinion that she is plastic. Still on this, Tacha made a post saying that if you are plastic you do not go close to fire. And then Mercy made hers saying that she will not tilt her crown for anyone to shine. In what seems like a battle for more money and endorsements, their respective fans seem to be at the fore front of the fight.

So far, the battle for class and endorsements seem to have favored Mercy as she has obviously enjoyed favorable relationship with more brands than Tacha. She also is on the good book of a huge percentage of Nigeria’s A list celebrities and influencers. With her multiple paid adverts and endorsements, she is clearly having the best season of her life.

Although it is easy to assume that Mercy is doing better than Tacha, it would be safe to say that the two of them are growing at their own strength and pace and they should be allowed to do so in peace.
