Mercy Aigbe, Toyin Lawani, alongside other Nigerian celebrities, are mourning over the death of upcoming event host Evelyn Adewunmi, popularly known as MC Eve, who died in a car crash.
MC Eve, fondly called The Energy Goddess, was involved in a car accident with her boyfriend on Tuesday in Lagos. Her boyfriend survived the accident, but unfortunately, the MC suffered severe injuries leading to her death.
Some Nigerian celebrities took to their social media page to mourn the loss while narrating their experience with the MC.
The Energy Goddess hosted many celebrities events, including Toyin Lawani’s wedding a few months ago.

Tiannah, still paying a tribute, recounted how she came across the MC on Instagram and used her for her wedding despite her friends been against it. A few weeks ago, she (MC Eve) called her to show appreciation for the biggest break in her MC career.
She added, “Eve, Rest on my love , in the little time you were on earth you really shook it and made your mark , Glad to have been part of your journey, you shall never be forgotten 👼 fly with the angels 👸 REST IN PEACE 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏“
