Megan Thee Stallion has come out to say Tory Lanez was the person who shot her in the feet after a party in the Hollywood Hills, a few months ago.
The American female rapper has hid the identity of the shooter which made her undergo surgery to have the bullets removed.
Megan with the real name Megan Pete says she didn’t tell Los Angeles police who came to the scene on July 12 about the shooting because she was afraid of the legal repercussions, and afraid of her safety.
She has now confirmed the shooter as rapper Tory Lanez via an Instagram video. She said ”Yes..Tory shot me. You shot me and you got your publicist and your people going to these blogs lying. Stop lying. Why lie? I don’t understand”
It was reported that Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez joined others in an SUV after the party in Hollywood Hills in the early hours of July 12. Megan said there was an argument between the people in the SUV which made Tory shot her when she tried to walk away.
Tory Lanez was however, arrested the morning of the incident on suspicion of possession of a concealed weapon and was released on bail later that day, but has not been charged with anything related to the incident. Police and prosecutors say the case remains under investigation.
Megan Thee Stallion has consistently declined to name Tory as the shooter until Thursday night when she took to social media to make the revelation. She also tweeted ”Lie one more time and ima quit sparing you’‘
