A few days after the war of words between the Presidency and controversial Nigerian cleric, Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka, the cleric is reportedly missing.

According to a statement by the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, OYC, Mbaka was last seen on Tuesday, and every effort to trace him had proved abortive.

The President-General of the Council, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike, said his aides have neither seen nor heard from the Adoration Ministry, Enugu cleric.

Nwabuike added that calls put across to his mobile line have also remained unanswered. However, the Council warned that it would not take it lightly should anything untoward occur to the cleric.

The Ohanaeze Youth gave the Federal Government 48 hours to produce the priest or face Igbo youths, noting that the Presidency became uncomfortable with the cleric because he told them the truth after dining and wining with him all along.

EveryEvery.ng gathered that some supporters of the cleric have taken to the streets to protest after the Ohanaeze youth Council raised the alarm over his alleged disappearance.

The parishioners have now stormed the Bishop’s Court, demanding that Bishop Calistus Onaga of the Catholic Diocese of Enugu produce Mbaka.
