Famous Nigerian singer, Adewale Mayowa, also known as Mayorkun, has revealed how he battled different emotions in the last nine months.

The singer, via his Twitter handle, revealed that the past months had been a roller coaster of emotions, including love, envy, betrayal and loneliness.

Mayorkun, who has not released music for a while, said he made music about most of his ordeals with the different emotions, which according to him, also reminded him of his personality.

Meanwhile, the singer said most people assume that he is incapable of experiencing sadness, anger among other negative feelings experienced by other people. However, in another post via his Instagram handle, Mayorkun hinted that his new song would be out soon.

A few days ago, some of his fans demanded that the singer release a new song because they were itching to listen to new slang from the self-acclaimed Mayor of Lagos.

You will recall that the singer had a few weeks ago decided to share some words of wisdom on Snapchat to help guide whoever cared to read and implement through life.

Some of the tips he gave read,

“Enjoy your youth but save for retirement.

“You got something to say? Say it, don’t hold it in (Not me tho, I leave).”

“Know your lane before trailer use you do driving test.”

The singer is signed to Davido’s record label, Davido Music Worldwide (DMW). His rise to fame was a typical industry grass to grace story as he was a banker, unhappy with his career path at the time who made a cover for Davido’s hit song, The Money (read more here).
