English Premier League side Manchester United is currently in talks to re-sign Cristiano Ronaldo, who talks with Manchester City. United is reportedly plotting to hijack the deal and sign the former Real Madrid player back to Old Trafford.
United Rivals Manchester City have decided not to pursue a deal for the 36-year-old after considering the matter carefully. Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri confirmed Cristiano Ronaldo’s intention to leave Juventus, and he has no issue with the decision of the player.
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was speaking about a possible return of Ronaldo. He said: “knows that we are here” during a press conference on Friday. Ronaldo himself called media speculation about his return to Real Madrid “a disrespect for me as a man and as a player” in a lengthy Instagram post a few days earlier. But the player could just be on his way back to the English Premier League.
