Manchester United Goalkeeper (Sergio Romero) Records so far.
Romero has played nine times in all competitions this season, playing in the Europa League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup. So far, he has seven clean sheets in those games with United winning all five and only two are were draw. The 32-year-old signed for the Premier League in 2015 as back up for David de Gea. He has been considered the best back up keeper in football throughout that time, stepping in brilliantly whenever needed.
The former AZ Alkmaar goalie was on the bench on Sunday and had to watch as United lost 2-0 to rivals Liverpool, who took yet another step towards winning the league. Jurgen Klopp’s side were much the better team and could have been far further ahead, especially with a controversial disallowed goal after a foul on De Gea.
The Argentine is statistically Manchester United’s best ever goalkeeper. He recorded an impressive 27 clean sheets in 42 games, now holds the record for the most goals scored from the halfway line in a minute. Romero mastered the technique of firing in the shots in quick succession and an official adjudicator was on hand to give him his award and put him in the record books.
The Manchester United goalkeeper is getting ready for the next English Premier League which is going to be on Wednesday. They will be hosting Burnley, we are not yet sure if the Manchester United Goalkeeper (Romero) will be the one in goal or David de Gea but we are the Argentine is fit and sound for the next game.
