Days after Seven Manchester United players unfollowed Mason Greenwood after his arrest, United players have started following the player back on Instagram after his arrest over allegations of rape and assault. The likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Paul Pogba and David De Gea alongside Rashford and Lingard had earlier unfollowed the 20-year-old but some of them have gone back to follow the player again.
The latest to unfollow Greenwood was Victor Lindelof, but having unfollowed his colleague earlier this week, the Swedish defender has now restored the striker to a list of people he is following again. Lindelof had initially followed Mason Greenwood on Instagram on Monday after his arrest on suspicion of rape and assault.
On Tuesday, Lindelof unfollowed him but it is reported that the former Benfica player has followed Greenwood again. Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard and Fred, were not following Greenwood as of Monday, January 31, but on Wednesday after the player was released on bail, they followed him back on Instagram.
Cadbury also announced that Greenwood will not feature on any of their marketing products while the striker was removed from FIFA 22 in an update on Tuesday.
