Justice Mohini Moodley of the Durban high court in South Africa has slammed a 400 years jail term on a 46-year-old man, who reportedly raped his 10-year-old stepdaughter close to 1,000 times over five years.
Moodley ordered that the man be registered as a sex offender and not be allowed near a child.
The court pronounced him guilty of fifty-six counts relating to human trafficking, rape, sexual grooming, distribution of child pornography and sexual abuse. He also bagged a 173-year prison sentence.
Everyeveryng gathered that the man was arrested in 2018 in Verulam, north of Durban, after the child confided in a neighbour about the alleged abuses.
According to Prem Balram, the spokesman of a Private security company, a group of residents discovered horrifying videos of the rapes on the man’s mobile phone.
Also, security operatives confiscated Dildos and other sex toys used to penetrate the girl during sexual acts in the home.
Meanwhile, the investigating officer, Lutchminarain, had previously detailed how the accused had issued threats to all those he felt had contributed to his incarceration.
