Liverpool loanee, Loris Karius, has been criticized by Besiktas manager, Senol Gunes. Karius loan has so far not worked out, with the development described as “gone a bit stagnant” by Gunes.

The German keeper, who made two high-profile errors during Liverpool’s Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid last May, joined the Turkish outfit from Liverpool on a two-year loan deal in August after Jurgen Klopp signed Alisson Becker from AS Roma.

However, the bid to improve Karius’ confidence and rebuilt his career isn’t going according to plan. This was evident when he allowed Omer Ali Sahiner’s strike squirm under him last Sunday against Konyaspor.

Senol Gunes is now concerned by the goalkeeper’s recent form and has suggested dropping the keeper if his retched form continues.

Gunes though maintains the goalkeeper is a very talented keeper and would want to see him return to form sooner, rather than later.
