The recent onslaught of lootings and destruction has continued in Abuja, the nation’s capital and the latest place to take a hit is the NYSC orientation camp located in Kubwa, a suburban part of the city.
Twitter user, @nkay_yo, put out a tweet explaining how youth in the area overpowered the policemen on guard at the camp and carted away things like sewing machines, foodstuff and mattresses.
Another twitter user, @_littlehuman_ confirmed the occurrence, saying that she could witness it happen from her workplace in the area as she saw someone with looted goods on his head as he went away from the location.
Recall that yesterday, the nation’s capital was hit with an incident of looting as a warehouse in Gwagwalada was ransacked by a mob, with three women reported dead in the pandemonium.
This continues an ugly trend of similar situations that have unfolded across various states in the country over the past week.
