Funke Akindele, who is also known as Jenifa in her popular comedy movie, Jenifa’s Diary is always known to showcase live issues and to teach morals in her works.
She has her ways of showing people getting to suffer the necessary consequences of their mistakes in all her movies. Those were demonstrated in her world like Jenifa’s Diary, Industreet, Return of Jenifer, Ayetoro, My Siblings and I, among many others.
You will recall that she and her husband Rasheed Bello were recently sentenced to fourteen days social service by a Lagos State Magistrate Court for disobeying the lockdown and social distancing order of the State government by organising a house birthday party.
They would be required to tell people the consequences of not obeying the Lagos State lockdown order, be under a fourteen-day self- isolation and pay a hundred thousand naira each.
Though the dust raised by their conviction and sentencing might have gone down, it would be nice if she can feature this scenario in one of the episodes of any of here TV series.
