Buhari Reacts As Boko Haram Slaughters 43 Farmers In Borno
The Federal government has directed civil servants from Grade level 14 and above to resume to work on Monday, May 4, 2020.
This was announced by the Head of Service of the Federation, Dr Folashade Yemi-Esan in a circular released on Thursday.
According to her, offices are to open three times a week – Monday, Wednesday and Friday – and close at 2:00 pm each day.
She said the schedule was part of the gradual easing of the lockdown measures.
The circular reads: “Further to Mr President’s broadcast on a phased and gradual easing of the lockdown measures occasioned by COVID-19, officers on GL 14 and above and those in essential services are hereby directed to resume work with effect from Monday, May 4, 2020, in the first instance.“

The HoS urged the workers to reduce the number of visitors they receive in their offices.
She further mandated them to provide handwashing facilities at every strategic location within their office premises to stop the further spread of the virus.
