Argentina and Paris St-Germain star Lionel Messi seems to want a switch of a career as he made his movie debut recently in an Argentine T.V series Los Protectores. They were pictures of the former Barcelona star player posing with other actors for a glass of Champagne. The move came after the end of the Ligue 1 2021/22 season, Messi used the break period to make his debut in a movie.
Lionel Messi seems to have been soaking up the new venture in the video as he smiled and laughed his way through the shoot. Messi has been named as a “special guest” on the show, although it is not yet clear how much he will be on the programme.
The second season of Los Protectores, which is due to be aired in 2023, continues to follow three football agents who “face an unexpected threat to their business”. The show is available to watch on the TV channel Star+ but is not accessible to UK viewers.
The Argentine who scored five goals in their 5-0 win over Estonia on Sunday is not the first Paris St-Germain player that has appeared in a movie. Brazilian star Neymar Jnr featured in a popular movies XXX Return of Xander Cage and Wonder Boy.
