A Local Government, LG Chairman in Osun State, Nigeria is dead from an undisclosed illness.
Hon. Quadri Ademole Owonikoko died in the early hours of Tuesday 16th June. He was until his death the LG chairman of Olorunda North Local Council Development Area in Osun State and was elected as Chairman in 2017.
According to reports, Hon. Quadri Ademole had been battling with an illness that wasn’t made known to the public for a while and had been flown out of the country on various occasions for treatments.
As at the time of this report, the cause of death is yet to be known.
