They were able to win the heart of the fans in the God’swill Akpabio International Stadium on Wednesday, but can they repeat the victory?

Nigeria will be looking to give fans yet another reason for celebration when they take on Lesotho at Setsoto Stadium. The Super Eagles are eyeing their third consecutive win in all competitions, and they are seen as hot favorites to win Sunday’s football match. Since Nigeria boss Gernot Rohr can count on key players for the upcoming 2021 AFCON qualifier, we believe the players won’t fail.

Nigeria has no injury issues and so betting on them will not be a bad idea at all. The coach and the fans are all backing the players for victory. They will be traveling today, Friday, to the Lesotho Setosto Stadium with the hope of extending their win in Group L. The Super Eagles are currently heading Group L after their last home win against Benin Republic.

Players to look out for in the Away team

Victor Osimhen has been in top form in both club and country. He scored the opener in the first leg of the qualifiers through a penalty. He opened his goal-scoring account in the African Cup of Nations Campaign against Benin, and he is likely to lead the line for the visiting team against Lesotho.

Another man to watch in the away team will be Scottish Premier League ace Joel Irabor who plays for Rangers. He proved his worth in the last game and will out to do it again. Wilfried Ndidi, who is enjoying a very successful season with Leicester City will also be handling the midfield alongside Everton star player Alex Iwobi.

Anyhow, Nigeria is more of a team than Lesotho, who shared the spoils with Sierra Leone in their opener. Samuel Kalu who scored the win for Nigeria in the first leg will also be in the starting line-up and will surely be a threat to the home defense.

The Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has come out to assure Nigerians a sure ticket to the African Cup of Nations in Cameroon come 2021. Head coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Gernot Rohr, has also told Nigerians to just give the players the support they need. He said he believes in his team and the fans should do likewise. He also warned the players against complacency in the remaining games.
