Remembrance is in order as the Lekki Massacre march for EndSARS Memorial on October 20, 2022 (20.10.20) will hold tomorrow in Lagos State and every other concerned part of Nigeria.
Twitter is already flooded with tweets on how and what the day is going to look like. @VictorwonderB23 said, “A day to the day our leaders murdered our brothers for wanting a better Nigeria. Is a better Nigeria a crime to ask for?”
On Wednesday 19, some Journalists visited the young man known as Olamide to see the lifetime scars and injuries obtained during the Lekki Toll-Gate Massacre.
He was one of the lucky ones that didn’t lose his life, even though his leg was amputated after receiving a bullet during the protest.
A tweet from Ismaeel Ogunsola, about the #EndSARS protest says it all. “Olamide, a survivor of #Lekkimassacre showed the pressmen his prosthetic leg after losing it to gunshots at the tollgate.”
