Barrister Bashir Mohammed was abducted by gunmen around 1.30 am in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Witnesses say more than 10 people stormed the lawmaker’s home behind Dr Jalo Eid prayer ground in Jalingo.
The source also disclosed that though the operation of the kidnappers lasted about three hours, there was no intervention by any security operative.
The source said the kidnappers forcibly pushed Barrister Bashir into their car and left the scene.
