Super Eagles vice-captain William Troost-Ekong have arrived in Nigeria ahead of their World Cup qualifier against Ghana. He is not the only player to have hit the camp, Leon Balogun and Ola Aina have all also arrived at the team’s camp in the prestigious The Well Carlton Hotel and Apartments, Asokoro, Abuja.
Troost-Ekong Leads Latest Super Eagles Players Available for Ghana Clash
West Brome center back Semi Ajayi and Brentford midfielder Frank Onyeka are also in camp. Their arrival was confirmed on the team’s official Twitter handle on Monday morning. It was made known on the Nigerian Football Federation page saying: “Update! 5 players in camp…William Troost-Ekong, Leon Balogun, Semi Ajayi, Ola Aina, Frank Onyeka. #SoarSuperEagles,” reads the tweet.
The tweet also says: “More players are expected in camp on Monday as the Super Eagles begin preparation for the 2022 FIFA World Cup playoffs against the Black Stars of Ghana.”
