Lai Mohammed Reveals Plan On Social Media Regulation

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has on Thursday advised EndSARS protesters to approach the Judicial panel of inquiry with their evidence of deaths at Lekki toll gate.

Mohammed gave the advise at the venue of the EndSARS briefing organized by the Federal government where he also talked about Social media regulation.

However, the Minister said there are no plans to shut down social media. He added that plans are underway to regulate social media.

Mohammed attended the briefing alongside other heads of parastatals. The Minister opined that the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN froze bank accounts of some EndSARS protesters in line with a court order
