LSSC continues to identify and seal non-compliant organizations in Lagos State.

The Lagos State Safety Commission(LSSC) on Sunday sealed 33 religious and social facilities for going against the COVID-19 safety protocols.

The facilities included bars, restaurants, lounges, spas and gyms that were shut down for disobeying the rules that were set to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus.

The LSSC Director General , Mr Lanre Mojola, in his statement, said the closure of these facilities is to affirm that Lagos state had zero tolerance for organizations that insist on violating the law.

Mr Lanre said the State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu had asked business owners in tourism and entertainment to obtain provisional safety compliance letters from www.lasgsafetyreg.com in preparation for their reopening.

The DG also added that the enforcement exercise is not over as the agency will continue to fish out organizations that have not registered especially lounges, bars, gyms, spas and other religious and social facilities.
