The Lagos state ministry of health has updated a report on the state coronavirus cases, saying that the state has discharged 33 COVID-19 patients from their Lagos state isolation centres in Onikan and Eti Osa.
The ministry pointed out that of those 33 patients, there were nine females discharged and another twenty-four males, noting that all the patients discharged were Nigerians. Of the 33 patients released, 17 were from the Onikan isolation centre, and 16 of those were from the Eti-Osa(Landmark) isolation centre.
The patients are discharged after testing negative for the coronavirus twice consecutively. The total number of released cases in the state is now 502. Eighty-one new cases were reported on the 10th of May, with the total number of deaths in Lagos as of then at 33.
