Lagos Discharges 87 COVID-19 Patients
The government of Lagos State has announced the discharge eighty seven (87) Coronavirus patients
The Lagos State Ministry of Health disclosed this via its official Twitter account. It said: “87 patients; 40 females, 47 males, all the Nigerians were released from our isolation facilities to reunite with their families”

Lagos Said 26 patients were discharged from Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, and 24 from Onikan.“87 #COVID19Lagos patients; 40 females and 47 males, all Nigerians have been discharged from our Isolation facilities to reunite with the society
“The patients; 26 from Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, 24 from Onikan, 12 from Eti-Osa (LandMark),11 from Agidingbi, 9 from Gbagada and 5 LUTH Isolation Centres were discharged having fully recovered & tested negative to #COVID19.”
With this the number of patients now managed and discharged 825 successfully.
Meanwhile, by November this year, the Lagos State Health Commissioner, Prof. Akin Abayomi, said the state will experience a drastic decline in COVID-19 cases.
Abayomi also revealed that the state had entered into arrangements with the 57 flagship Primary Healthcare Centers (PHCs) across the state to supervise patients with asymptomatic, mild, and moderate cases of the virus that he hoped would soon be confined to homecare.
