Mr Ibrahim Farinloye, NEMA’s South West Zonal Coordinator, revealed this information to the news agency, stating that the gender of affected persons from the collapse includes 2 men and women, making the number 4 in total.

This time, it was a three-storey building that fell and the state government officials at the site of the collapse gave an order that the structure is pulled down completely to avoid any further accidents.

It was gathered at the building collapse site that the work had stayed idle for over forty years and was dilapidated which eventually led to the fall, but gave a directive that the concerned authorities investigate the true cause.
