Kiddwaya Warns Tochi In Surprising Tweet
The two housemates seemed to be having a go at it on the microblogging platform and this exchange was as a result of a picture posted by Tochi. He posted a picture of himself seated at a bar and enjoying a drink that looks much like a cocktail. The drink in the picture resembled Kiddwaya’s signature mix called ‘Kidd on the rock’.
Recall that Kiddwaya has a deal with famous liquor brand Ciroc and while in the house, he was the makeshift bartender for the housemates, taking pride in his affinity for liquor and its variations.
Posting this picture online, Tochi used a caption that was devoid of Kiddwaya’s personalised hashtag. He wrote,
“Relax problem no dey finish”
Reacting to this Kiddwaya issues him a warning for not writing an appropriate caption for the photo. Kiddwaya responded,
“Tochi I go change am for you. Shebi u Dey drink Kidd on D rocks. Talk am as E Dey. Mugu.”
Fans were taken by surprise, not just because Kiddwaya warned Tochi sternly but because of his first-class Pidgin. Viewers of the Big Brother Naija show would relate to how much Kiddwaya struggled with Pidgin English in the house so his tweet came to some as a pleasant surprise while others felt he was pretending in the house.
Seeing how much traction his new lingo brought, Kiddwaya followed up his warning with a clarification that although he wrote most of the tweet in pidgin, it had to go through a third party for corrections.
