Nigerian Female Actress Kehinde Bankole shares her fear of the Third Mainland Bridge railing.
The actress shared this in a video she posted on her Instagram page on Thursday and asked if she was the only one who feels uncomfortable about the short railings or she’s just weird.
She said each time she drives on that bridge; she feels like the railing is so short that if you lean on it when trying to fix your car, you could fall over by mistake.
She reiterated that it is not okay to be quiet about certain things even if you don’t like social media. “Am I the only one who finds the Third Mainland Bridge railing very short? Kehinde, are you the weird one? Maybe that railing isn’t short, and I am the only one who thinks it’s short.”
Though repairs were done on the bridge not long ago, she’s calling on the Ministry of Works to please raise the railing higher because it looks like a disaster waiting to happen.
The 36 years old actress said, “We should not sit down like ducks waiting for disaster to happen before we say something.”
It is worthy to note that the bridge was reopened on 27th February 2021 after final rehabilitation, which took over six months.
