Sen. Kashim Shettima, the running mate of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, BAT, of the All Progressives Congress, APC, is currently being dragged on Twitter for picking a shocking dress code.
Known for his usual native regalia in agbada style and other Hausa matching Kaftans, Shettima, however, appeared at the ongoing 2022 Nigeria Bar Association, NBA Colloquium in Lagos State on a ‘Coat’ that seemed oversized and ‘Black Sneakers’ to blend it up.
Some tweeps hinted that he wants to represent the Nigerian Youths, not Tinubu he expected to sit in for at the lawyers’ conference, which is the opening ceremony of the 62nd Annual General Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association, themed ‘Bold Transitions’.
Some tweets contained unprintable words describing the looks of Nigeria’s prospective vice president, including reasons the APC flag bearer chose to be absent at a gathering where other competing candidates attended.
The Labour Party Presidential Candidate, LP, Peter Obi, is in attendance, and his counterpart in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, former vice president, Atiku Abubakar.
