Kano State has joined the list of states with cases of persons who have tested positive to Coronavirus, CVID-19 as it recorded its first case.
The Kano State Commissioner of Health, Dr Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa confirmed this on Saturday.
Tsanyawa said the state government would soon make an official announcement on the development as the governor was in a meeting with health experts and as at the time of filing this report.
However, sources said the COVID-19 patient just returned from Lagos State.
Meanwhile, as at 09:30 pm 10th April, there are305 confirmed cases 58 discharged seven deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC in a post on its official Twitter handle said Lagos had 163 cases, Abuja recorded 56, Osun had 20 cases while Edo had 12 cases.
Meanwhile, Oyo State had 11, Bauchi had 6, Akwa Ibom recorded 5 cases, Ogun had 7, and Kaduna had 6 Cases.
Enugu had 2, Ekiti- 2, Rivers-2, Kwara- 2, Delta- 2 Benue- 1, Ondo- 2, Katsina-4, Niger- 1 while Anambra had 1 case.
