Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp said he plans to challenge Manchester City in the Premier League title race by being “as annoying as possible”. His side is currently one point behind Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, after their 2-0 win over Arsenal and City dropping points in Monday’s 0-0 draw at Crystal Palace.
Jurgen Klopp Promise to make EPL Title Race Annoying to Man City
The two teams will meet on the 10th of April at Etihad Stadium in what could be a title decider. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said he plans to push Manchester City and to be annoying as possible. He made it clear that they will have to win their games. He said: “It’s final after final that we play. We’re not ten points ahead with 10 to go. It’s in front of us – attack it, chase it, go for it. It’s the only chance we have.”
Liverpool is on a nine-game winning streak in the Premier League and they are the only team in the English Premier League that is fit and have enough points to stop Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City from retaining the English Premier League title. Man City may want to focus more on The Champions League which will give an opening for Liverpool to compete well against them for the title. But the only hope they have is the fact that Liverpool is also in the Uefa Champions League.
