Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp has come out to speak on the current form of his players; according to the manager, he said, his players do not have the same mentality as they once did.
This statement was made known after their shocking 1-0 home loss to struggling Fulham. Fulham beat Liverpool in the English Premier League Matchday 28 to make it the sixth successive home defeat this season, the worst they have ever had.
Jurgen Klopp believes his side’s performance against Fulham was ”not good enough” and much improvement is needed. According to him, he said: “We conceded a goal, didn’t score, lost the game.
“We started okay. We had some moments but didn’t use them. They had their moments behind our last line,” We conceded a goal at the moment we didn’t expect it just before half-time.”
Klopp believes his side got too relaxed and comfortable in the game, although they created chances. He also said he thinks the winner is always right, and he did not the loss coming at all.
He also pointed to the fact that any of their players were not fit, and also they won almost all their games last season, and they still have to use the same players this season. He is suggesting fatigue has caught up with the players.
