Jose Mourinho Reveals Countries that Wanted him

The Special One Jose Mourinho has finally come out to clear the air on the number of countries that wanted him as their manager but he turned them down. He also spoke on why he did turn them down. He turned down a job offer from both his country Portugal and the Three Lions of England. Mourinho, who Tottenham sacked after a poor form of results in the Premier League, was appointed by Roma a few weeks later.

Jose Mourinho Turned Down England and Portugal Job

The legendary coach was in an interview with one of the media houses, and he said he was offered a chance to manage England and Portugal during his career. He said he left Chelsea, England offered him the chance to coach their national team, but he realised that it was too early for him to manage such a team.

When he left Real Madrid, he also said he was eagerly looking for a part-time job; Portugal came to offer him the chance to coach their national team, but he rejected the offer. He said managing a national team is something he will like to do later in his career and not now.

Jose Mourinho also turned down job offer from Lyon before agreeing to manager AS Roma. He has managed many club side and also has who many trophies in his career.
