Jose Mourinho Wants Sergio Ramos at AS Roma
Ramos will leave the Bernabeu after a 16-year stint at the end of the month when his contract expires. The 35-year-old had requested a two-year contract worth £200,000-a-week as he plots his next move. The request from the player had made both Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain drop out on the deal leaving only Manchester United in the chase for the player.
The player earlier ruled out a return to Sevilla and a controversial Barcelona switch, and only Manchester United appeared to be his biggest and best option. But Jose Mourinho is now offering to sign the player to his new side, AS Roma.
The Special One, as he is popularly called, wants to reunite with the Spaniard. Jose Mourinho is hoping to use his relationship with the player to beat United and sign him to Italian Serie A. Sergio Ramos played a total of 671 games for Real Madrid and scored 101 goals for the club.
