Jorge Mendes, Pep Guardiola with other football lovers and players have come out to join the campaign started by Paul Pogba and Ibrahimovic to kick out Coronavirus. Cristiano Ronaldo agent Jorge Mendes recently donated 1 million Euros to help combat COVID 19 which has become a global pandemic.
Jorge Mendes has donated 1m euros to three intensive care units for patients suffering from coronavirus at hospitals in Lisbon and Porto. The campaign which almost every football player has contributed to is aimed to funding aid workers who are fighting coronavirus in the world.
Manchester City coach recently contributed his own qouta by donating one million Euros to help in the fight against the virus. He made the donation in his home in Barcelona, has been working with his lawyers over the past few days to work out the best way of using the money.
It will go to a campaign being promoted by the Medical College of Barcelona and the Angel Soler Daniel Foundation. Spain is one of the countries which is effected and records worst cases on a daily, is very obvious leaving everything in the hands of the government. Their individual contributions will help in a long way to kick out coronavirus.
With close to 40,000 people affected as at Tuesday and 2,696 people already dead from the pandemic this funds willhelp to provide for the workers. Jorge Mendes star player Ronaldo has also donated one million Euros as Lionel Messi has also done thesame. Messi donated his to two hospitals, one in Barcelona and the other in his native Argentina.
The money will be used to help purchase medical equipment and protective material for the hospital staff involved in treating those admitted to the hospital. The Catalan region is one of the areas in Spain which has the most concentrated number of cases.
Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski and Joshua Kimich along with some other players also donated 1m euros to fight the COVID 19 pandemic in Germany. the fight to kick out this virus is one which involves everybody becuase it has come for all and not for selescted people.
