Nollywood actor Jim Iyke has finally spoken about his fight with colleague Uche Maduagwu that happened sometime last year, regarding what Uche had said about him on his Instagram page.
During an interview with Chude Jideonwo, the actor made it known that the fight he had with Uche Maduagwu was a publicity stunt while noting that Uche was paid a reasonable amount.
Recall that sometimes last year, Uche questioned Jim Iyke’s source of income and accused him of being a ritualist. However, a video trend showed when Jim iyke got violent with him at his home for insulting him on social media.
However, some Nigerians guessed it was a publicity stunt to promote his newly released movie, while others said it was too good to be true while adding that Uche deserved it.
In a recent interview, Jim Iyke has admitted that the fight was indeed a stunt. He noted that the plan came up amongst him and his team, then they contacted Uche, and he was paid for it.
The actor also added that he is too “strategic” to “jeopardise” the success of his film by getting into a real fight with Uche.
Jim added that he understands the love Nigerians have for gossip and bad news, so he decided to use the opportunity to promote his movie.
